The Key Account Manager executes all Luxottica Sport Brand Eyewear / Helmets / Goggles sales strategies for assigned key account customers. The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing customers that have centralized buying for doors operating across multiple regions.
The Key Account Manager builds strong business relationships with all customers and increases topline sales with strategic selling, best‑in‑class assortment optimization, marketing, training and product merchandising.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop incremental businesses in existing customers, and with identifying and onboarding new customers.
- Develop customer sales strategies by brand to achieve sales goals as established by the Director of Sales, Key Accounts.
- Develops and leads sales presentations during market weeks throughout the year with each key account customer; conducts business reviews per key account customer once a month using company provided reports and tools.
- Accelerates the Wearable Electronics category distribution and sales growth within all qualifying key account customers.
- Meets and exceeds monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals by meeting targets by brand in each key account customer.
- Implements and manages each key account customer’s assortment/planogram by brand, and initiates/reinforces weekly replenishment systems.
- Forecasts weekly sales and special projects to the Director of Sales, Key Accounts.
- Maintains and updates the door report to track brand distribution in all key account customers each quarter.
- Provides recap of key account customer meetings with specific action items, and follows up with all parties to ensure satisfactory completion of tasks.
- Interfaces with Demand Planning team to forecast product inventory needs of each customer’s evolving assortment.
- Analyzes launch report and open order report weekly, while interfacing with sales operations team to ensure customer shipping requirements are met.
- Increase retail sellout with customers by initiating strategies per brand through sales analysis, product & account marketing tools, and in‑store support.
