As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an automotive environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Hiring for a Security Officer – Unarmed

Payrate: $19.55 per hour.

• Monitor access points to help deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols at the automotive facility.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises and document all visitor and contractor activity as required.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting employees, visitors, and/or contractors while adhering to site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe for irregularities and report any security-related concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities and follow Allied Universal and site-specific procedures as appropriate.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
