Senior Customer Marketing Analyst – Reynolds Consumer Products
We are searching for a Senior Customer Marketing Analyst to join our team at our corporate headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.
Responsibilities- Assist Trade Directors in leading, analyzing and implementing customer level annual strategic plans to drive growth through customer marketing events, shelf level assortment, at‑shelf promotions and at‑shelf pricing.
- Lead, develop and improve volume forecast analytics to drive Tableware volume forecast accuracy and deliver financial targets.
- Lead, develop and execute customer event analytics to optimize Tableware trade spending efficiency and drive brand share growth.
- Assist Trade Directors to optimize Tableware portfolio spend against customer and product portfolio to drive efficient use of trade spending.
- Act as key interface among sales, marketing, supply chain and operations to deliver forecast accuracy and efficient utilization of production resources.
- Analyze and report conditions within the marketplace using IRI or ACNielsen syndicated data and information sourced internally and externally.
- Provide direction, funding and budgetary control to field sales managers in implementation of promotional programs for retail customers.
- Execute and monitor funding requests from field sales based on business plan and approved budget levels.
- Provide direction and answers to questions from Marketing, Finance or Supply Chain groups regarding the trade program and field sales matters.
- BA/BS degree in a related field.
- 6+ years of sales/sales analytics experience in Consumer Packaged Goods, preferably including trade management, key account management, and/or field sales.
- Experience with consumption data models that support volume forecasts and price elasticities is a plus.
- Knowledge and application of syndicated data, and ability to incorporate financial measures in assessing results.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and ability to influence at all levels.
- Self‑directed with ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple accountabilities and internal customers.
- Solid project management capabilities to organize and manage simultaneous projects.
- Team oriented and able to collaborate in high‑performance teams.
- Knowledge of consumer products industry practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
- Ability to travel on an overnight basis.
- MBA or other advanced degree.
