The Department of Radiation Oncology at Lake Forest invites applications for a full-time radiation oncologist to join our multidisciplinary cancer care team. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a nationally recognized department that integrates cutting‑edge, compassionate and innovative clinical care.
Position SummaryThe selected candidate will provide excellent radiation oncology care, including diagnosis, patient consultations, treatment planning, and follow‑up management. In addition the candidate will:
- Provide comprehensive radiation oncology services for patients with various cancer diagnoses.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, physicists, radiation therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives and strategic planning.
- Ensure patient safety and quality care throughout the treatment process.
- Maintain excellence in patient satisfaction, clinical efficiency and interdepartmental collaboration.
- MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Radiation Oncology residency.
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Radiation Oncology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient‑centered care.

- Base salary range: $450,000–$600,000, reflecting experience, qualifications, internal comparators, and external market benchmarks.
