The salary range for this position is $37.65 - $48.95 per hour. Placement within the salary range depends on factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union it is guided by the collective bargaining agreement.

DescriptionThis is a full‑time, 40‑hour per week position located at Lake Forest Hospital. The position is an evening 2nd‑shift (evenings) role.
Responsibilities- Position and immobilize patient on the examination table.
- Administer contrast media orally or IV in accordance with department policies, patient history, exam protocols, and physician orders, and follow through with post‑exam instructions.
- Enter data such as type of scan, slice thickness, scan time, and other technical data into the computer.
- Communicate with patient before and during procedure; monitor safety and comfort.
- View images of organs or tissue on the video display to ensure image quality; produce radiographs.
- Perform CT equipment QA and maintain required logs.
- Perform clerical tasks such as receiving orders, scheduling patients, and record‑keeping.
- Maintain and clean work area and equipment; replenish supplies as needed.
- ARRT certification
- IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety
- BLS certification through American Heart Association
- 2 to 3 years of undergraduate education or equivalent
- ARRT registry in CT or MRI
- 1 year of experience
- $10,000 tuition reimbursement per year ($5,700 part‑time)
