CT Technologist – Full Time Evening Shift

We invite you to join our advanced Emergency Department at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital, where we leverage cutting‑edge Carestream imaging technology to deliver exceptional patient care.

Job Details

• 40 hours per week, full‑time

• Evening 2nd shift (2nd/second shift)

Responsibilities

• Position and immobilize patients on the examination table.
• Administer oral and/or IV contrast media per department policies, patient history, exam protocols and physician orders, and follow through with post‑exam instructions.
• Enter technical data (scan type, slice thickness, scan time, etc.) into the computer system.
• Communicate with patients before and during procedures; monitor safety and comfort.
• View images on the video display screen to ensure quality and produce radiographs.
• Perform CT equipment QA and maintain required logs.
• Execute clerical tasks such as receiving orders, scheduling patients, and record‑keeping.
• Maintain and clean work area and equipment; replenish supplies as needed.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • ARRT certification
  • IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association
  • 2–3 years of undergraduate education or equivalent experience
• Preferred:
  • ARRT registry in CT or MRI
  • 1 year of related experience

Sign‑On Bonus Eligibility
