Job Details: Western State Hospital, an acute care adult psychiatric facility in Hopkinsville, KY, is seeking a Dietitian to join our team. This role focuses on providing nutritional care for individuals with mental health conditions. The dietitian will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to support patient well-being. This is a full-time position, 30-40 hrs/wk, Monday-Friday, with a flexible work schedule.

Onsite presence is required.

Job Summary: We are seeking a Clinical Dietitian (FT) to join our Nutrition Team at an acute care medical center in Hopkinsville, KY.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides medical nutrition therapy including assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention for the patient population.

Follows all guidelines from the Company Diet Manual and Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.

Complies with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accreditation agencies, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable.

Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

State licensure where required.

Preferred:
One year hospital experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software.
