Registered Nurse — Emergency Services (Full Time, Days)

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop evidence‑based care plans.
• Communicate promptly changes in patient condition and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide patient and family education, using teach‑back methodology and culturally competent approaches.
• Apply best evidence to direct interventions, participate in quality improvement projects, and maintain professional standards.
• Ensure safe medication administration, infection prevention, and quality metrics are met.
• Lead or precept staff, advocate for patients, and support collaborative practice.
• Utilize technology for documentation, medication ordering, bed management, and patient portal education.
• Engage in professional development and maintain nursing certifications.

Required:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification

Preferred:

• National certification in an area of specialty
• Strong interpersonal and analytic skills
• Ability to collaborate with others
• Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) acceptable with commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of first day of employment.
