Family Law Associate Attorney | Lake Forest, IL

A respected law firm in Lake Forest, IL seeks a skilled Family Law Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of legal experience to join our team. If you have a strong background in family law, a drive for client advocacy, and a desire for robust trial exposure, we want to connect with you.

What We're Looking For:

· Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice in Illinois.

· 3-6 years of legal experience, with substantial family law background.

· Prior trial or contested hearing experience highly preferred.

· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

· Self-motivated, hardworking, and committed to career growth.

· Embraces a "work hard, play hard" environment within a supportive, collaborative team.

Requirements

What You'll Do:

· Independently manage a diverse family law caseload-including divorce, child custody/support, maintenance, and related matters.

· Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.

· Represent clients in court, at mediations, and depositions.

· Conduct legal research and deliver strategic counsel to clients.

· Collaborate closely with attorneys and support staff to ensure exceptional client service and results.

· Help foster our collegial and client-centered culture.

What We Offer:

Salary: $90,000 - $150,000, depending on experience. Bonus structure based on performance. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, and plans for profit sharing.
