Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $72,500.00 to$.

Position Details
Business Systems Engineers implement, configure, develop, maintain and optimize enterprise-grade commercial software platforms that enable Grainger's core business processes (i.e. Contracts, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and HR). You will understand the core business processes enabled by these tools and can translate business requirements to the most optimal, performant, reliable, scalable and secure solution that meets the need. You are responsible for seamless operation of/integration between complex systems in a rapidly evolving ecosystem that includes traditional ERPs (on-prem, hybrid, cloud), best-in-breed specialized tools and SaaS platforms, as well as fully custom solutions.

You will demonstrate Grainger's core Engineering principles and continuous improvement mindset including a stewardship for both the overall Business Systems Platform and improving our customer first culture. You are primarily responsible for creating and implementing the physical design which includes building, testing, and deploying code; configuring systems; resolving defects; confirming compliance with security, performance and related standards; providing level 2 and 3 technical support;
