Overview
Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical, Part-Time Nights with $1500 Sign-On
Salary range: $34.50 - $55.20 per hour. Placement within the range is based on relevant work experience and internal equity. For union-represented positions, placement within the salary range follows the collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities- Performs a comprehensive assessment on assigned patients and documents findings
- Communicates changes in patient condition promptly
- Develops and adjusts the plan of care with measurable goals based on nursing diagnoses and assessments
- Identifies and prioritizes patient needs and nursing diagnoses; documents accordingly
- Collaborates with patient, family, and health care team; assists with discharge planning and referrals as needed
- Evaluates patient response to interventions and updates the plan of care as necessary
- Ensures discharge instructions, medication reconciliation, and patient portal education are provided
- Required:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Preferred:
- National Certification in area of specialty
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative ability
- Strong analytic abilities
- Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within three years of employment
