Salary range: $48.00 - $55.00 per hour. Placement within the range depends on experience, internal equity, and collective bargaining agreements.

As a Staff Nurse Inpatient, you will adhere to our Code of Ethics, Corporate Compliance Program, and all regulatory and accreditation standards. You will prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care to the acutely ill patient using the nursing process and maintaining ANA standards.
Responsibilities- Collect and analyze data, develop individualized plans, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate progress.
- Direct care and determine utilization of assistance for direct patient care.
- Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff to create documented plans focused on outcomes.
- Participate in shared governance, committee work, and unit projects.
- Document responses to interventions in the health record, individualizing care plans accordingly.
- Utilize best available evidence, including research, to guide practice decisions.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to collaborate with others
- Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) acceptable with commitment to obtain a BSN within three years
- Additional requirements for Emergency Room: ACLS, PALS/ENPC & TNCC within one year of hire
- Additional requirements for Pediatric Emergency Room:
Pediatric Advanced Life Support TNCC within one year of hire - Additional requirements for Non‑Invasive Cardiology: ACLS
- Experience in specific clinical area
- Trauma Nurse Specialist (TNS)
- Emergency Communications Registered Nurse
- Certified Pediatric Nurse
- Certified Emergency Nurse
