The Fresh Market is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager for the Dairy and Frozen Foods department to assist the Center Store (Grocery) Manager with inventory, pricing, training, and other operational processes. This fast‑paced position requires efficiency, effectiveness, and a passion for excellence to drive results while curating an impeccable experience for guests and team members.

Pay range: $18.04 – $22.55 per hour

• Coordinate the ordering of products for dairy, frozen food, beer and wine, and VMS areas with the Center Store (Grocery) Manager
• Greet guests and proactively assist them in a friendly manner with accurate, timely information
• Make recommendations and accommodate requests
• Manage order guides/ordering deadlines and reduce shrink/damage
• Properly receive/store goods following rotation standards when replenishing product levels
• Engage, motivate, coach, and train team members on‑the‑job and through The Fresh Market’s internal training platform to provide excellent guest service in a safe and secure manner

This position requires a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

• 3+ years of experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality field
• 1+ year of leadership experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be at least 18 years of age
