Golf Shop Attendant

This position performs all duties and tasks that assist members and guests with tee times (reservations and check-in), merchandise, and information while providing professional customer service.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Computer knowledge/usage
• Some knowledge of the game of golf is expected

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Offer friendly and professional customer service to all patrons
• Use the point of sale and Tee Sheet system for check-in, merchandise sales, and tee time management
• Ensure compliance with financial controls at the end of each shift
• Assist in tournament, event, and outing preparations
• Help with inventory operations including checking-in, displaying, and counting
• Communicate effectively to create an exceptional guest experience
• Maintain a professional image and uphold company policies
• Stay informed on Inn and Suite procedures and promote events and services

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS

In addition to the essential functions, this position may be required to perform the following supportive functions:

Communicate with all departments in a timely manner

Assist professionals, player services, and assistants when necessary

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Interact verbally with guests, members, and staff

Answer phone calls and questions

Occasional lifting may be required

Standing for extended periods of time
