• $10,000 Sign on Bonus eligible

Shift differential for qualifying shifts: PM shift 15% of base pay, up to $4.50 per hour;
Night shift 20% of base pay, up to $6.00/hour.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology. Must be qualified to perform high complexity testing according to CLIA 493.1489 Standard;
  Testing personnel qualifications.
• Associates degree in Medical Technology AND MLT certification. Must be qualified to perform high complexity testing according to CLIA 493.1489 Standard;
  Testing personnel qualifications.

• MT/MLS Generalist Certification or Specialty Certification in Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology or Microbiology required within 12 months of hire.
• MLT Certification and 5 years of experience.

In this Generalist position, you will be performing and analyzing waived, moderate, and high complexity laboratory tests as defined by CLIA in Hematology, Urinalysis, Chemistry, and Blood Bank. Automated as well as Manual Methods will be utilized as defined by Mercy’s Policies & Procedures. This position requires strong critical thinking, intra and interdepartmental communication, problem solving, and a strong attention to detail.
