As a Security Operations Technician with Epic Hosting, you will be part of a SOC team that secures Epic's SaaS infrastructure for some of the largest healthcare organizations in the country. You’ll identify security events, coordinate investigation and response, and implement long-term process improvements. The responsibilities include:
- Following policies and procedures, escalating issues appropriately
- Escalating potential security incidents with relevant information
- Meeting all security responsibilities outlined in policies and procedures
- Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, application whitelisting, and DLP tools
- Knowledge of log analysis, monitoring, and auditing, or experience in a SOC
- Security certifications like GSEC, SSCP, ECSA, Security+ are a plus
- Scripting skills (e.g., Power Shell) are helpful
- Experience with access management, Active Directory, and physical security is a plus
- Familiarity with SIEM, MFA, and ITIL tools is beneficial
- Relocation to Madison, WI (reimbursed)
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Availability for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
