- Overall responsibility for the daily operation of an assigned retail location, ensuring uninterrupted service and promoting a positive customer buying experience.
- Provide employee leadership and development and exceptional customer service while promoting the highest quality products in the industry.
- Maintain a professional attitude, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and timely.
- Effectively schedule staff to maintain uninterrupted operation and be available to assist when needed.
- Inventory counts: maintain appropriate retail stock, fuel, car wash chemical and operating supply levels.
- Cash management.
- Customer service/communication; facility maintenance; ensuring a clean, appealing and properly stocked facility that supports a positive buying experience and safe working environment.
- Overall responsibility for the daily operation of an assigned retail location, ensuring uninterrupted service and promoting a positive customer buying experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Employment/Employee relations.
- Retail management/operations.
- Complete all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain uninterrupted operation by effectively scheduling staff and being readily available to assist when needed.
- Inventory counts and stock management for retail, fuel, car wash chemicals, and operating supplies.
- Cash management.
- Customer service/communication.
- Facility maintenance; ensure a clean, appealing facility and safe working environment.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds, stoop and bend, reach above shoulder level, climb, shovel, sweep and mop.
- 1-3 years prior management experience in retail, grocery, or restaurant is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age; must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to and from work during all shifts, including on-call hours.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills; strong organizational ability and attention to detail; outstanding interpersonal and business skills typically associated with a high school diploma; minimum of 6 years of management experience is preferred.
- Must complete an approved Food Service Sanitation Management course, pass, and maintain a valid certificate onsite.
- Where required by law, must obtain and maintain the applicable Operator License to sell alcohol.
- Must have a professional attitude and be a proven motivator with strong team-building abilities.
This position reports to the District Manager for the location’s territory. The location’s Assistant Manager, Lead Sales Associate, and Sales Associates report to this position.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
Required
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills; strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. High school diploma or equivalent is required; six years of management experience is preferred.
- Must be a proven motivator with excellent team-building skills; comfortable directing and training others.
- Must have and maintain the applicable Operator License to sell alcohol where required by law.
- Superior customer service skills and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation for all shifts, including on-call hours.
