You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those looking for a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app.

When you choose to pick up a shift, reliable and prompt attendance is necessary.

Active engagement is required by picking up and working shifts at least every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). Flexibility can be granted in certain circumstances, but you must respond to our attempts to contact you to confirm interest in working shifts. If you do not respond, employment may be terminated. If you do not work at least one shift within 5 months, your employment may be administratively terminated.

Your communication and ability to work when our business demands it are critical to your success.

If offered a position as an On-Demand TM, you will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule. After that, the myTime mobile scheduling app is where you can pick up the shifts you desire to work.

• Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard and creating a welcoming guest experience.
• Greet guests, assist with needs, and solve problems to improve their experience.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and work to resolve guest issues.
• Contribute to a smooth checkout process and assist guests with purchases according to safety standards and company practices.
• Communicate current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events; promote and explain Target Loyalty programs and fulfillment services.
• Educate guests on using Wallet and other Target App features; assist with enrollments as needed.
• Handle returns according to policies, escalate to leadership when needed, and de-escalate situations to recover the guest experience.
• Deliver easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests; maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Stock supplies during store hours and remain available for guests; follow safety policies and procedures.
• Support guest services such as order pickup, Drive-up orders and returns; comply with adult beverage laws where applicable; assist with cash office processes as needed.
• Perform any other duties based on business needs.
