Whatwill you be doing?
- Develop new materials and topics for daily training sessions.
- Provide feedback for staff evaluations and support team growth.
- Act as Manager on Duty in the Director’s absence.
- Serve as the liaison for Red Cross materials, trainings, and lifeguard classes.
- Supervise and support Head Guards, Lifeguards, Slide Attendants, and Aquatic Center Attendants.
- Enforce facility rules, report repairs, and maintain a safe and clean aquatics area.
- Assist with opening, closing, and daily operation of the aquatics facility.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including acting as lifeguard, water park attendant, or pool cleaner.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Possess American Red Cross certifications:
Lifeguard, Shallow Water Attendant, and Administering Emergency Oxygen. - High school education preferred, with two years of active lifeguard experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills to assist and interact with guests, patrons, and team members.
- Capable of supervising others, enforcing rules, and responding to emergencies with sound decision-making.
- Skilled in handling challenging customer interactions with patience, tact, and diplomacy.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively while supervising facility activities and maintaining safety standards.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
