Job Summary
Homeland has partnered with a leading healthcare provider in the Havasu region to hire a Senior Financial Analyst
. This role is a vital part of the finance and accounting team, working directly with the Director of Finance. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial operations through accurate reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling. By partnering with executive leadership and department managers, this individual will deliver actionable insights that guide both operational performance and long-term strategic planning.
- Collaborate with department managers and administrative staff to prepare and analyze financial reports, address budget variances, and provide actionable insights
- Support the development, tracking, and reporting of productivity standards
- Build, maintain, and enhance financial models for projections, forecasting, and business planning
- Analyze complex datasets, identify key trends, and summarize findings into clear recommendations for leadership
- Conduct project cost analyses and evaluate financial metrics (ROI, valuations, cost comparisons, etc.) to guide investment decisions
- Contribute to monthly forecasting and the annual budgeting process
- Assist with month-end close variance reviews and prepare financial and operational metric reports
- Develop executive-level presentations highlighting financial and operational performance
- Provide ad hoc financial and operational analysis as requested
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial reporting, accounting, or business analysis within healthcare
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, variance analysis, and healthcare accounting processes
- Experience with joint venture accounting preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration preferred
- Advanced skills in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting
