Job Summary

Homeland has partnered with a leading healthcare provider in the Havasu region to hire a Financial Analyst
. The Financial Analyst role is a great opportunity to join a growing healthcare finance team, work directly with leadership, and gain valuable experience supporting financial operations in a hospital and physician practice setting. We are seeking someone dependable, motivated to learn, and passionate about building a career in healthcare finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly financial and operational reports
• Complete provider bonus analyses and support accrual/payment processing
• Assist with the preparation of the Monthly Operations Report (MOR)
• Develop monthly financial packets for each COID, present at meetings, and document outcomes
• Educate providers on financial statements, wRVU reports, bonus structures, and related financial topics
• Support annual budgeting and ongoing variance analysis
• Assist with month‑end close processes, including account reconciliations
• Collaborate with the CFO and finance team to ensure accurate financial postings
• Maintain spreadsheets for physician contracts, employment agreements, and building leases
• Provide financial analysis to support performance improvements and evaluation of new business opportunities

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in finance/accounting (healthcare or hospital setting preferred, but not required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Healthcare Administration
• Strong Excel skills and a general understanding of financial reporting/analysis
• Dependable, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn within a healthcare finance environment
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Team‑oriented with the ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment
• Able to work independently with accountability while contributing to team goals
