As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Controller to oversee our financial operations and maintain a solid foundation for future success.

We’re looking for a Controller to manage the financial health of our business, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and insightful analysis. This role is crucial in helping us make informed decisions and achieve our strategic goals. The ideal candidate has a strong background in financial management, excellent leadership skills, and experience in the trades or service industry.

• Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analysis.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee timely filing of returns.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with leadership on growth initiatives, including capital investments and cost control measures.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax professionals, and financial institutions.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years in accounting or financial management, preferably in the trades or service industry.
  • Prior experience as a Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Sage, etc) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
