RN​/Registered Nurse OB Part Time

Overview

RN/Registered Nurse OB Part Time  at Havasu Regional Medical Center. This is a department of a nursing service position that provides delivery of patient care with the knowledge of a registered nurse in the Perinatal Setting.

• Demonstrate clinical ability to work as a primary RN on the OB Unit as a Perinatal RN.
• Coordinate delivery of patient care on the unit within guidelines and productivity.
• Complete required documentation and participate in patient/family teaching and discharge planning, effectively utilizing the nursing process.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with physicians, ancillary staff, and other administrative and support personnel to maintain professional nursing standards in the multidisciplinary clinical setting.
• Provide the basic leadership required of an RN for subordinate staff on the Unit.
• Maintain quality delivery of patient care by completing patient assignments in compliance with the nursing process, AZ Nurse Practice Act, JCAHO, state regulations, hospital policies and procedures, AZ Perinatal Trust, AAP and AWHONN guidelines.
• Strive to give all customers very good care and promote Havasu Regional Medical Center's Standards of Behavior and other duties as assigned.

• College level:
  Minimum of Associate degree of nursing.
• 1 year experience in Labor & Delivery, or Post Partum, and/or Nursery and/or 1 year experience in Medical/Surgical unit.
• If Driving on Company time, must possess valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance.
• Valid Arizona or Compact States nursing license.
• FHM class required within 6 months with biannual update.
• BLS within 60 days of hire.
• NRP required within 6 months and ACLS preferred. If ACLS certification obtained, BLS not required.
