ICU RN Team Leader (3045) ) – Job Description

• Provide delivery of patient care with the knowledge of a Registered Nurse. Demonstrate clinical ability to work as Primary RN on the Unit to which assigned.
• Coordinate the delivery of patient care on the Unit; complete required documentation; participate in patient/family teaching and discharge planning, effectively utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with physicians, ancillary staff and other administrative and support personnel to maintain the standards of professional nursing practice in the multidisciplinary clinical setting.
• Provide the basic leadership required of a Registered Nurse for subordinate staff on the Unit.
• Maintain quality delivery of patient care by completing patient assignments in compliance with the Nursing Process, the Arizona Nurse Practice Act, TJC and State regulations and established Hospital Policies and Procedures.
• Strive daily to give all customers very good care and promote Havasu Regional Medical Centers’ Standards of Behavior and other duties as assigned.

• Minimum:
  Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Previous RN experience preferred.
• Valid AZ or Compact RN license.
• 1 year of ICU or related experience preferred.
• Hemodynamic Monitoring, EKG preferred.
• Moderate and Deep sedation required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS & BLS required upon hire.
