American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel position requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and a current AZ or compact RN license.

• Blended ICU/CVICU unit within a 171-bed Joint Commission accredited community hospital and regional referral center
• Level III Trauma Center and Certified Chest Pain Center
• 16-bed unit with adult and geriatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Common diagnoses include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure,
  
  A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR and TVAR
• Uses Baxter pumps and Medhost EHR
• 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Call requirements apply
• Floating required to Intermediate Care Unit as primary RN and to ED holding for admitted patients on an as-needed basis

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required

• Weekly orientation offered
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as perm staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
• One call-out permitted per contract; a second call-out requires documentation and is reviewed case by case
• 48-hour schedules may be considered but are not guaranteed
• No block scheduling requests accepted
