American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a blended ICU/CVICU unit requiring travel experience and AHA certifications.

• Blended ICU/CVICU unit in a 171-bed Joint Commission accredited community hospital and regional referral center with Level III Trauma designation
• 16-bed unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Common diagnoses include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure,
  
  A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR
• Uses Baxter pumps and Medhost EHR
• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts, days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• Every other weekend required
• Call requirements apply
• Float to Intermediate Care Unit as primary RN and to ED holding for admitted patients on an as-needed basis

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active licensure verification via Nursys required at time of consideration
• Copies of required certifications must be provided

• Weekly orientation provided
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• One call-out permitted per contract; additional call-outs require documentation and case-by-case review
• 48-hour shifts may be considered but are not guaranteed
• No block schedule requests accommodated
• Housing options available
