American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position requiring 2 years of recent acute care experience and prior travel assignment history.

• Community hospital and regional referral center, Joint Commission accredited with 171 beds
• Level III Trauma Center and Certified Chest Pain Center
• Progressive Care Stepdown/Transitional unit with 30 beds
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:3
• Common diagnoses include STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, sepsis, CABG, acute respiratory failure, and atrial fibrillation with RVR
• Uses Medhost EHR
• Night shift schedule, 3x12s from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Float requirements include Medical Surgical and Telemetry, as well as ED holds for patients awaiting admission
• On-call required with a 30-minute response time when called in

• Active AZ or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required

• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate, otherwise local rate applies
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
• Weekly orientation offered
• Located in Lake Havasu City, AZ, near outdoor recreation, mountain ranges, and lake scenery
