American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position requiring 2 years of recent acute care experience and prior travel assignment experience.

• Work in the Progressive Care Stepdown Transitional unit of a 171-bed Joint Commission accredited community hospital and regional referral center
• Level III Trauma Center and Certified Chest Pain Center
• 30-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:3
• Adult and geriatric patient population including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, CABG pod 2, Acute Respiratory Failure, and Atrial Fibrillation with RVR
• Uses Medhost EHR
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 3x12s
• Every other weekend required
• On-call required with a 30-minute response time when called in
• Floating required to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including ED holds for patients awaiting admission
• Weekly orientation offered

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• 2 years of recent acute care experience required
• Prior travel nursing assignment experience required

• Located in Lake Havasu City, AZ, near outdoor recreation, mountain ranges, and lake scenery
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be eligible at the local rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis
