Job Description: Martini Bay Bar and Grill in Lake Havasu City is looking for experienced kitchen staff. We are currently looking for line cooks and prep cooks to fill positions that are now open. Prep cooks must have at least one year of experience in the kitchen preparing fresh menu items. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Applicant must be able to pass E-Verify and provide documentation to work legally in the United States.

To work at this position, one has to possess exceptional culinary insight. Knowledge of standard food preparation and storage techniques is a plus point, and the ability to work in a high volume environment is a plus point. This position also requires teamwork and no one that requires hero-worship (it won't happen). Must also be capable of helping with large banquets and be into details.
No good plate goes out without becoming great. Must also have a Food Handler's Card or Serv Safe Certification. We prefer someone who has completed the CTA Course for Lake Havasu, but it is not required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Refer to a list of needed ingredients on a day-to-day basis and check inventory
- Acquire ingredients not available in storage before the start of the day
- Prepare ingredients by chopping vegetables and meats
- Make arrangements to store food items in a safe and orderly manner
- Rotate frozen food items as standardized in the kitchen rule book
- Maintain kitchen standards by ensuring the cleanliness of tables, counters and work areas
- Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens and grills for cooking purposes
- Make sure that appropriate portions have been portioned out
