Position: PRN Speech Language Pathologist. Your role will offer effective and client-centered services that enable people to confidently and independently carry out everyday tasks or activities.
Employment Details:
- Primarily Medicare Part B Outpatient
- Productivity 80%
- Flexible work schedule; weekends or weekdays
Responsibilities:
- Address client's performance aspects to support engagement in occupations that influence health, well-being, and life quality.
- Select and adapt the appropriate treatment model, method, and approach for each case.
- Guide and educate family members and caregivers.
- Observe, note, and report progress on long- and short-term treatment goals.
- Collect data and document processes.
- Follow up regularly with clients.
Skills:
- Proven working experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of Speech Language Pathology
- Ability to manage patients with diverse personalities
- Current knowledge of treatment practices and a drive to continually learn and grow in the profession
- Professional behavior
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Education and Training: Graduate of an accredited Speech Pathology program and have secured the Certificate of Clinical Competence.
Licensure or Registry Requirements: Licensed in the state practicing by the Board of Speech Therapy and provide an acceptable Criminal Background Check.
