General Assembler

Overview

Cooking Solutions Assembler - 1st and 2nd Shift!

Location:

Lake in the Hills, IL

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 5:00 am - 1:30 pm OR 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Compensation: $16.50/hr (plus shift differential for 2nd shift)

• Places ends on fabricated parts for belts.
• Unloads cured belts from curing oven.
• Checks pattern on belts and weave of fabric on baskets for defects and sorts the products accordingly.
• Applies instructions, inserts pin, and packages belts and fabricated parts for shipment.
• Creates belts, baskets, and other fabricated items for the FPG business by following written or verbal work instructions.
• Packages belts, baskets, and other fabricated parts for shipment.
• Works at different work stations as production needs require and as directed by the supervisor.
• Works on line where tasks vary from sewing to heat sealing.
• Able to read orders and carry out essential functions of the job without direct supervision.
• Good working knowledge of quality control and attention to detail.
• Maintains work area, lightly cleaning as necessary.
• Correctly completes all inventory transactions in the ERP system.

• Ability to regularly lift up to 15 pounds. Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
• Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience.
• High school or general education degree (GED) preferred, but not required.
