Production Lead - Coating

Location: Lake in the Hills, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Compensation: Starting at $19.00/hr + $2.50 Shift Differential

We are seeking a Coating Team Lead to support our Coating department by operating coating equipment, maintaining quality standards, and providing leadership and direction to the team. This role combines hands‑on production responsibilities with team coordination to ensure safety, efficiency, and high‑quality output.

• Perform all duties of a Machine Operator III.
• Lead and support operators to ensure safe, efficient production.
• Train and cross‑train team members on equipment and processes.
• Oversee job setup and verify correct materials and mixes.
• Monitor production quality and make necessary adjustments.
• Record and report shift data, including quality and downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Prepare PTFE mixes accurately and on time.
• Foster a positive, team‑focused environment.
• Ensure ERP inventory transactions are completed correctly.
• Rotate workstations as needed.
• Lead training efforts and drive continuous improvement.

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (or team‑lift up to 100 lbs)
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification
• Prior manufacturing or coating experience
