Coating Machine Operator – 2nd & 3rd Shift
Location: Lake in the Hills, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM or Sunday - Thursday 11:00 pm - 7:30 am
Compensation: $18.00/hr + Shift Differential
AFC Materials Group is hiring a Coating Machine Operator to join our team. This is a hands‑on production role where you’ll be trained on two key areas of our coating process – working with high‑performance materials used in advanced industrial applications. If you're mechanically inclined, dependable, and thrive in a team‑driven environment, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do- Set up and operate coating machinery (PTFE, horizontal, or calendar‑based systems)
- Perform quality checks and adjust processes as needed
- Mix coating materials per specifications
- Use our inventory system to complete basic production transactions

- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (or team‑lift up to 100 lbs)
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification
- Prior manufacturing or coating experience a plus
