Job Description

Join Target as an On-Demand Guest Advocate (Cashier) for the General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, and Style teams.

The starting hourly rate is $15.50 USD per hour.

As an On-Demand Team Member, you can work as much or as little as you like, with a personalized schedule. You will need to pick up shifts posted by leaders or other team members and maintain reliable attendance.

Guest Advocates welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment, and store cleanliness. You will be knowledgeable about in-store and digital services and solutions, driving adoption and usage to ultimately promote guest loyalty.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store.
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy.
• Inform guests about current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events.
• Help guests with loyalty programs and assist with applications or sign-ups as needed.
• Understand and demonstrate how to use Wallet and other features within the Target App.
• Attempt every return and follow register prompts, partnering with leaders as needed.
• Maintain a clean and clutter-free work area.
• Stock supplies during store open hours while being available for guests.
