- Ensure requirements and user stories are clearly defined, complete, and development-ready across projects and maintenance backlog work.
- Oversee production support analysis, ensuring timely investigation and resolution of Claim Center-related issues while maintaining production SLAs.
- Support the development and QA teams, providing clarity on requirements, addressing questions, and ensuring alignment throughout the development lifecycle
- Facilitate and support UAT testing, ensuring system changes meet business needs before deployment
- Act as a subject matter expert on Guidewire Claim Center, guiding decisions on system functionality, workflows, and integrations
- Mentor and support Claim Center Business Analysts, ensuring alignment with business goals and best practices
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Developers, QA Analysts, and other business and IT teams, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Collaborate with other BA leaders to establish, refine, and enforce business analysis best practices.
- Step in as a hands-on contributor when needed to support business analysis efforts, requirements gathering, and documentation.
- Document system integrations and collaborate with solution architects to ensure seamless workflows.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance BA efficiency and project delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business, IT, Insurance, or equivalent experience).
- 6+ years of business analysis experience, preferably with a focus on claims.
- 3+ years of experience in P&C Insurance, with a strong preference for Guidewire Claim Center expertise.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Preferred but not required:
- Guidewire Certified Associate, Professional, or ACE in Claim Center.
- Business Analysis Certifications (e.g., CBAP, IIBA-AAC).
- Agile/Scrum Certifications (e.g., CSPO, CSM).
