- Develop budget estimates by performing accurate quantity takeoffs from plans, specs, or conceptual data.
- Review and interpret project documents to estimate scope of work.
- Apply unit costs and productivity rates provided by supervisors.
- Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor bids.
- Prepare subcontractor analysis sheets and evaluate change orders.
- Provide expertise across all phases of construction estimating.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project success.
- 3 years of experience in mechanical process piping or MEP estimating within semiconductor construction.
- Strong estimating experience in high-volume commercial construction.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and solid knowledge of Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with On Screen Takeoff and Success Estimating Software.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
