We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Contract Administrator to join our Contract Management team to be a vital component of Dext’s operational success. This individual will oversee complex reconciliation and reporting activities, ensure accuracy in financial transactions, and play a key role within the department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform complex reconciliation of accounts, including lease and loan transactions, suspense items, and pass-through payments.
- Generate and analyze pass-through reporting, ensuring timely and accurate remittance and accounting.
- Support large and complex programs through customized reporting and portfolio management in Aspire (LTI Lease Accounting Platform).
- Collaborate with Accounting and Operations teams to improve processes and procedures related to cash posting, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Identify process gaps and recommend enhancements to optimize system workflows and internal controls.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with company policies and audit standards.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff when the Contract Administration Manager is unavailable.
- Participate in internal audits, reconciliations, and financial reviews as needed.
- Support special projects, system implementations, and reporting initiatives as assigned.
- 3-5 years of experience in the equipment leasing or commercial finance industry, working for a lessor or servicer.
- Demonstrated expert-level proficiency with Aspire (LTI Lease Accounting Platform).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and lease/loan booking processes.
- Proven experience in account reconciliation, cash application, and financial reporting.
- High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently on complex reconciliations.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-production environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business applications.
- Experience training fellow staff members.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and audit support.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to process improvement.
