Mary’s Woods is looking for the next addition to our Life Enrichment team! The Life Enrichment team is the heart of resident life within 4 long‑term care neighborhoods serving 150 residents. We plan meaningful and engaging activities that entertain, bring joy, and give residents the opportunity to grow, learn, and contribute to the world at large.
The Life Enrichment Assistant generates ideas for new activities based on residents’ interests and brings those ideas into full fruition, including facilitating the activity itself. Using a strength‑based, person‑centered approach, the Assistant adapts activities to the physical and cognitive abilities of resident so that every resident can successfully participate.
Experience working with people living with dementia and physical disabilities is essential. The Assistant must bring genuine laughter and joy, sincerity, and compassion to their work with residents.
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm with some flexibility to support special activities at other times.
