Clinical Educator / Clinical Consultant (Per Diem, Traveling)

We are looking for a per diem Clinical Educator/Clinical Consultant to travel nationwide providing education and support for healthcare professionals operating medical equipment. This role offers flexibility and the chance to work in diverse settings while expanding your professional skill set.

• Available to travel away from home 3–4 days per week or more per month.
• Available for late Sunday, Friday evening, or Saturday morning trips.
• Ready and willing to work all shifts (days, evenings, and occasional nights).
• Able to travel for several consecutive overnight stays.
• Must live within 1 hour of a major U.S. airport (including willingness to fly regional jets) and have reliable transportation for drivable assignments up to 4–5 hours from home.

• Travel to customer sites to educate and support healthcare professionals in operating medical equipment safely and proficiently.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑sales end‑user education classes and in‑services.
• Deliver go‑live support during new equipment installations or upgrades.
• Maintain customer focus by proactively assessing needs and escalating as necessary.
• Communicate with client company Clinical Specialists and complete required documentation.
• Maintain competency on products through company‑provided training events (classroom training, online learning modules, etc.).
• Optimize travel strategies for cost savings.
• Maintain successful completion of corporate and client training modules.
• Complete expense and hourly reports as outlined.
• Meet vendor credentialing requirements, including immunizations and related medical requirements.
• Sustain a current driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
• High level of initiative, accountability, and professionalism, with a customer‑service attitude that exceeds expectations.
• Exceptional communication, presentation/training, interpersonal relationships, and critical‑thinking skills.
• Proficient with Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and network basics.
• Experienced with frequent domestic travel and capable of arranging own travel accommodations.

• Five recent years of critical‑care experience (ICU, CCU, ED).
• Formalized end‑user education / in‑service experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

• Frequent overnight business travel via air, train, and automobile across multiple time zones.
• Variable conditions such as cleanliness, comfort, weather, and safety.
• Remote management capability and ability to work autonomously in fast‑paced environments.
• Exposure to infectious disease and hazardous agents may occur during clinical or business travel.
• Required to sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, climb, and crawl regularly.
• Involves speaking, hearing, seeing screen colors, and hearing device alarms for configuration, teaching, and troubleshooting.
• Confirmation of medical screenings and/or required vaccinations (COVID‑19, MMR, Flu, and others as determined by client or customer site).
