Overview

BIOTRONIK Neuro is seeking a Territory Manager to join the Neuromodulation Segment in Portland, Oregon. The role focuses on promoting, selling, and servicing the BIOTRONIK product platform within an assigned territory, with the goal of gaining market share and achieving sales quotas in the spinal cord stimulation business. You will build relationships with key stakeholders in a dynamic sales environment and work independently to exceed sales expectations while contributing at the regional level.

Base

pay and compensation

Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $/yr. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a commission plan with earnings based on sales performance. Total compensation (base salary + commission) will reflect performance. BIOTRONIK provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other perks. Compensation may vary by geographic location, skills, experience, and other factors.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct sales calls to promote, sell, and service BIOTRONIK products and offerings to existing and competitive customers.
  • Support patients throughout the educational and clinical process for spinal cord stimulation therapy.
  • Provide support and technical assistance during the use of BIOTRONIK products during procedures.
  • Develop and implement quarterly sales plans and business reviews to achieve sales goals and objectives, while maintaining forward-thinking strategies for market shifts.
  • Be a subject matter expert on BIOTRONIK products and platforms, adapting to changes in the clinical and competitive landscape.
  • Build relationships with physicians, hospital administrators, Allied Healthcare Professionals, and other stakeholders within the territory to identify opportunities to promote BIOTRONIK products and services.
  • Complete administrative reporting (expense reports, account profiles and analysis, daily planners, competitive updates, inventory logs).
  • Provide ongoing field intelligence on competitive activity, market changes, distribution, pricing, and customer preferences.
  • Manage time and company resources to control expenses and assets.
  • Utilize sales collateral and tools to support promotional and territorial needs.
  • Train and educate existing and new customers on BIOTRONIK’s product portfolio.
  • Maintain fiscal responsibility for BIOTRONIK assets, including inventory and equipment.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Physiology, Biology, Bio Engineering, Business, or equivalent degree, or 4 years of relevant work experience in place of a degree.
  • 2+ years of medical device or biotechnology experience required.
  • 1+ years of interventional pain/spine experience in a sales role preferred.
  • Neuromodulation experience within the pain management market preferred.
  • Proven experience in implementing and leading regional projects.
  • Strong communications skills and ability to work within a diverse, inclusive team environment.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with external customers and prioritize deadlines.
  • Experience with direct quota attainment and performance metrics; solid knowledge of the implantable medical device market.
  • Ability to interface with patients and conduct multiple referral calls daily.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to navigate Windows and learn platforms such as Salesforce and Smartsheets.
  • Willingness to comply with health and administrative facility credentialing and all regulatory requirements (FDA, Company policies, training).
  • Schedule flexibility for all business and clinical field responsibilities, including after-hours and weekend duties, and ability to work in a geographically diverse environment.
Physical Demands

  • Frequently move up to 40 lbs; operate a computer and mobile device; frequent bending and movement.
  • Independently mobile and able to interact with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Visual and PPE requirements as per medical facility standards.
Travel Requirements
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance; travel within the assigned territory is >80% of the time, with occasional travel outside the territory and overnight travel as needed.
  • Occasional on-call coverage (24/7) including holidays, weekends, and evenings.
