This is a stipend position for the camping season, on a bi-weekly basis. Positions to run approximately from the second week in April through the second week in October.
Job Title: Campground Host (3 positions)
Reports to: Park Ranger
Location of Openings: Hannen Lake Park, Rodgers Park, Wildcat Bluff Recreation Area Please note your preferred location/position in application.
Pay Range: Up to $100 per pay period per person
Additional Benefit: This position provides a designated full hookup campsite at no charge while performing Campground Host work.

Position Responsibilities- Monitor campground registrations
- Sell firewood
- Complete necessary documentation
- Collect litter around campground
- General cleaning duties, restroom/shower house cleaning
- Work the weekends to ensure busy times have facility checks and be available to campers
- Communicate well with staff, Park Rangers, Conservation Technicians, and other seasonal staff regularly
- Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience and Skills Required- High school diploma or GED
- 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk, stoop and bend. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
