- Order Picking (30%):
- Review regular orders and pick materials using forklift and assemble in staging lane.
- Verify picked materials with a coworker for accuracy before shipping.
- Housekeeping (5%):
- Keep aisles and rack locations free of debris and empty pallets.
- Forklift Inspections (5%):
- Pre‑shift and post‑shift inspection of forklift; report maintenance needs.
- Mentorship & Training (10%):
- Conduct new employee training for order picking.
- Assist associates locating items and enforce safety, housekeeping protocols.
- Order Loading/Unloading (30%):
- Assist in loading orders onto trucks and delivery carriers; unload LTL carriers.
- Perform receiving duties; verify items, report discrepancies; coordinate with Procurement & Accounts Payable.
- Process returns, maintain return area, and collaborate with Customer Service and QC.
- Put Aways (5%):
- Collect products from staging area and move them to pick location; enter into inventory using RF Gen Gun.
- Inventory Audit (5%):
- Assist with annual inventory audit; count and log products; investigate discrepancies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Able to perform basic inventory counts using math.
- Able to read and interpret directions and order details.
- Able to communicate both in writing and verbally.
- Operates forklift safely.
- Operates RF Gen Gun.
- 4+ years of warehouse experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must pass pre‑employment physical.
- Lift: 50 lb.
- Push/Pull: 50 lb.
- Stand: 80% of day.
- Sit: 20% of day.
- Twist/Bend: 50% of day.
- Squat, Climb, Crawl: 20% of day.
