Summary
We are seeking a part‑time Student Assistant who will tutor students taking Accounting courses at SCC.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Ability to tutor with any student accounting assignments across the curriculum in one‑on‑one and small groups.
- Responsible for working in the EXCELerator (Library).
- Assisting students with study skills, technology and time management.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Commitment to work schedule is crucial.
- Must be a current student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours.
- Accounting tutors must have taken ACT
110 Financial Accounting; ACT
130 Managerial Accounting in the past semester. - Must have a referral form completed by an SCC Accounting faculty member.
Part‑time, not to exceed 19 hours per week.
