- Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and demographic data.
- Assist patients with personal and daily care (bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, hair care).
- Deliver meals and snacks; feed patients who cannot feed themselves; document oral intake and supplements.
- Turn and position immobile patients safely, maintaining proper body alignment; participate in mobility program.
- Answer patient call lights and perform services that promote physical well‑being.
- Transport patients to designated areas, including treatment centers.
- Certified BLS or completion within first 90 days of employment (required).
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Hospital experience, certification as a nursing assistant preferred (may be required based on state requirements).
- Post‑offer employment testing (POETs) completed before first day of work.
