Position Summary:
The Chief Development Officer (CDO) is a dynamic and visionary leader who will shape and drive the Agency’s philanthropic, marketing, and communications strategy at the highest level. Serving as the chief fundraiser and ambassador for the organization, the CDO will build upon a strong foundation of donor/community support to expand and diversify the Agency’s base of philanthropic investment. With a focus on major gifts and strategic partnerships, this individual will inspire a culture of giving, elevate the Agency’s visibility, and advance its mission through innovative fundraising and communications strategies.
Reporting directly to the President & CEO and working in close partnership with the CFO and Board of Trustees, the CDO will play a pivotal role in ensuring the long-term sustainability, growth, and impact of the Agency.
This Position Will: serve as the chief architect and leader of all fundraising, marketing, communications, and community engagement efforts for the Agency. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CDO provides strategic vision, direction, and oversight for a comprehensive development program that ensures the long-term financial sustainability and visibility of the organization. The CDO partners with the President & CEO, Board of Trustees, and Chief Financial Officer to align resource development and public relations strategies with the Agency’s mission, values, and strategic plan.
This position oversees all aspects of major gifts, annual fund, corporate and foundation relations, grants, planned giving, marketing, public relations, branding, volunteer engagement, and digital media.
Salary
: $93,982 – $154,351 annually
