Job Summary

We’re looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join the Tank team! In this position, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely process of all shipping operations, yard activities, and yard inventory as it relates to the site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effective and clear written and verbal communication skills. Effective reading skills.
• Ability to accurately record and account for numbers/items.
• Knowledge of proper handling procedures for raw materials, supplies and finished goods within the facility. Knowledge of shipping documents, freight classifications and related paperwork.
• Good computer skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft office products.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills include effective and timely communication. Proven ability to interact successfully and professionally with all levels of employees and with 3rdparty providers.
• Receive and process incoming materials and components including returns.
• Inspects and verifies accuracy of bill of leadings, part number, product/material count, RMA, and quality check as specified.
• Complete appropriate paperwork, receipt, and label/sort according to procedures;
  Review, update, and/or create procedures as required.
• Move properly receipted materials from receiving area to proper storage location.
• Lift and store heavy objects requiring machine assist (forklift).
• Maintain a safe and efficient loading and staging area by completing general periodic housekeeping duties.
• Coordinates and prepares items identified for shipment. For example, make sure complete shipment is available, appropriate packaging and labeling are done, etc.
• Package outgoing products and parcels per packaging specs. Examine and inspect product and packaging to ensure packaging specs are met.
• Understands and achieves internal and external customer targets for product delivery. Alerts the Customer Service Manager if unable to ship as scheduled.
• Load materials and products into package process equipment.
• Measure, weigh, and count outgoing materials
• Load outbound trucks with finished goods, returned goods or any other items that are outbound in a safe and efficient manner. Labels and loads shipments based on customer requirements.
• Coordinates the timing of the shipments and deliveries at the docks with the freight companies involved. Develop/maintain positive relationships with both existing and new shippers and logistics companies.
• Manages the creation and distribution of shipping paperwork for Fluidal. Help with other shipping needs where needed. Completes the appropriate shipping documentation and verifies its accuracy.
• M2M updates with all relevant products and shipment information on a daily basis.
