Job Description Main Tasks
Mann & Hummel is looking for Production Workers to join our team in Lake Wales, FL.
These candidates must have manufacturing experience.
2ND SHIFT PRODUCTION WORKER (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)
Job Summary
The production workers are involved in various tasks related to assembling, manufacturing, or packaging products in a factory or production environment.
What you’ll do:
- Perform physical work in a manufacturing setting.
- Assemble goods on a production line.
- Monitor the production process for any issues or malfunctions.
- Ensure consistent speed and accuracy on the production line, making sure the production daily goal is met.
- Maintain waste and efficiency standards.
- Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
- Ensure that finished products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Must effectively work and communicate with other team members to provide products and services of the highest quality.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform highly detailed and repetitive work
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position
- Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production, and non-production areas.
- This position may require work 8 to 10 hours in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures and loud noises, typical of a manufacturing plant.
- May be required to work overtime or on weekends, depending on the needs of the production schedule.
