If you love mission driven work and thrive behind the scenes making big things happen, this Administrator role is built for you. Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida is hiring an Advancement Administrator to power the systems, relationships, and experiences that fuel fundraising success across our council. This Administrator position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, tech savvy, and energized by turning information into impact.
The Administrator will also coordinate the details for all four Run Disney events, over the phone, online - and when the run weekends come - on the ground in Orlando, FL.
The Advancement Administrator serves as the operational backbone of a busy fundraising team. Each day, the Administrator manages donor records, processes contributions, supports stewardship communications, and keeps projects moving on time. This Administrator also plays a central role in signature campaigns and special events, including large scale peer to peer fundraising efforts such as run Disney, where accurate tracking and responsive support directly influence revenue and participant experience.
If you enjoy working with databases, juggling priorities, and being the person everyone relies on to keep things organized, this Administrator role will feel like home.
Our next Administrator will take ownership of donor database management using systems like Donor Perfect, ensuring data integrity, timely gift entry, and accurate reporting for leadership and finance. The Administrator prepares acknowledgements, receipts, and donor communications that show supporters the real impact of their giving. This Administrator also helps coordinate fundraising campaigns, supports silent auctions and events, and assists with financial reconciliation and expense tracking.
Success in this Administrator position means combining precision with customer service, because donors, volunteers, and colleagues all count on clear communication and follow through.
The Advancement Administrator reports directly to the Director of Advancement, and provides support to the Advancement team, including the Chief Advancement Officer, Grants Manager and Events Manager.
Who are we seeking? We are looking for an Administrator with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least three years of relevant experience. Strong Microsoft Office skills, comfort learning new systems, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are essential. Experience with donor databases, fundraising operations, or event support will help an Administrator stand out. Bilingual skills in Spanish or French are a plus.
This Administrator must be highly trustworthy, organized, and proactive about solving problems. The selected candidate must also be able to pass a post-offer Level 2 fingerprint-based background check and motor vehicle check with satisfactory results.
This is a non-exempt, in office Administrator position based at our Lake Worth, Florida headquarters, supporting a collaborative Advancement team. Work hours follow our four day workweek schedule, with some evenings and weekends for events. We are known for a positive, high energy culture that values professional development, recognition, and well being. Team members enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, generous paid time off, paid seasonal breaks, and a workplace that genuinely invests in its people.
When you become our Advancement Administrator, you are not just taking an administrative job. You are stepping into a role where your organization, accuracy, and follow through directly support programs that build girls of courage, confidence, and character.
