As a MS English Teacher, you will create and implement a flexible program and classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. You will develop lesson plans consistent with established guidelines and build effective rapport with students, staff, and parents, motivating them to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge to provide an effective educational foundation.

You Will Impact Education
  • Plan and implement a program of instruction that adheres to the company’s philosophy, goals, and objectives.
  • Create purposeful and appropriate lesson plans that maximize learning time.
  • Presents subject matter to students and provides real‑world, application‑based examples.
  • Review student records to understand each student’s abilities and needs, maintaining accurate records.
  • Strive to maximize each student’s educational achievement.
  • Use a variety of learning modalities and differentiated instruction.
  • Utilize diagnostic assessment of student learning frequently.
  • Generate progress reports as required.
  • Refer students with suspected learning problems to appropriate support personnel.
  • Assign lessons, correct student work, and review oral presentations.
  • Coordinate class field trips (as required).
  • Prepare students for state‑required achievement assessments.
  • Stay current in subject matter knowledge and learning theory and share this knowledge to improve curriculum.
  • Assist in ongoing curriculum revision and selection of books, equipment, and instructional materials.
  • Familiarize yourself with supplemental services beneficial to students.
Classroom Environment
  • Create an environment conducive to learning tailored to students’ maturity and interests.
  • Maintain positive rapport and demonstrate patience and nurturing.
  • Ensure the classroom is clean, safe, and displays student work appropriately.
  • Implement all relevant student conduct policies.
  • Develop reasonable rules of behavior in accordance with CSUSA policy and maintain classroom order fairly and consistently.
Instructional Planning
  • Develop lesson plans consistent with guidelines and goals.
  • Plan individual and group learning activities to meet objectives and student needs.
  • Prepare for classes and demonstrate readiness to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with staff during curriculum planning meetings.
  • Incorporate diagnostic information into Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Guard supplies, equipment, and materials to implement the instructional program.
School/Community Relations
  • Establish cooperative relations and communicate with parents/guardians as appropriate.
  • Communicate clearly, consistently, and positively with parents via appropriate mediums.
  • Cooperate with administration, staff, and CSUSA.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student records.
  • Participate in parent communication activities.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities to support a positive school culture.
