The Dean of Students will inspire and motivate young learners, putting students first in education. The Dean will develop and enhance elective courses, after‑school college preparation programs, workshops, and parent‑involvement networks. The role ensures the overall security, safety, and well‑being of students and staff, and assists the principal in implementing CSUSA policies and school oversight.
How You Will Impact Education- Ensure teachers deliver curriculum compliant with state and CSUSA mandates.
- Enthusiasm and commitment toward the position and CSUSA mission.
- Master’s degree (MA) from an accredited college, or equivalent.
- Usual school working conditions.
- May be noisy during high student traffic.
- Agility to move quickly in a school environment with children.
- Exposure to weather, lights, noise, and traffic.
- Light work: up to 20 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently.
Job is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
